Thanks Tony. I figured it out on my own. There is an option when deleting a post to report it as spam to mollom. That saves a step when taking out the trash, but also provides the opportunity to mark a reason for its deletion including abusive, etc. Nice feature for housecleaning. IM is there some kind of

Forums upgrade
I change my avatar on a regular basis without any problem--though I find the double avatar annoying. Make sure the avatar you post meets the size and resolution requirements. Too big and it will be rejected. The only avatar that shows
The only avatar that shows up for me is the one I had at the last forum upgrade. I can delete it but I can't replace it beyond my edit page. "I thought of adding my own

The forums upgrade is just about ready - I think we'll be going live --- or trying to --- on Monday afternoon.
This means there will be about 1 hr of downtime and no doubt a few teething problems.
The intended benefits are:
1. a proper spam Captcha
2. more flexible permission settings
3. a newer version of drupal, so some general future-proofing in terms of upgade features and supportability
