Part One: The Cosmic Jew

Each of the religions expresses essential universal truths about the human condition. As such, everyone is Christian, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Jain, Taoist, and so on. Dreams bear this out. Dreams do not promote one religion over another. Instead, they use religion to give context to the dreamer's experience. Dreams also interconnect the religions, illuminate their true meanings, and reveal the roots of their misappropriation.
In my dreams, the religion most directly associated with the global collective -- with all of humanity -- is Judaism. The Jewish story -- its exodus from slavery, quest for a Promised Land, eras of stability, and eras of Diaspora -- is everyone's story. It is the story of the collective as well as the individual. To find the Promised Land, every person must wander the desert for forty years.

In the Name of Allah Most

In the Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful.
Israel or JACOB is a beautiful name in which all muslims and believers believe in .Israel believes in the unity of God.He was obedient to Allah and he was dutiful to her mother and treated kindly his wives Rachel and Leah (Lia).Israel did not fight his brother Esau no harm him;
he was ;therefore; an example of peace and tolerance, unlike those who kill children and innocent in the name of religion or in the name of serving their interests and those who are blind by greed at the expense of others. The land belongs to Allah. It belongs to no one. This earth is not an eternal abode. It is like a tree in which one takes shade and carry on his journey. We are here to work for the benefit of each other, help each other and to be good each other. This is the purpose of life is to populate the land and to be an active element in society and to worship God alone and to be merciful to his creatures. It is worthy to mention that Judaism abhors the shedding of blood and calls for avoiding this at all costs. Moreover according the jews not zionists, only the Messiah who is able to establish the Jewish state, and that, upon his return, he will establish a kingdom of priests. The founders of the Zionist movement rejected the Jewish religion and never abided by its teachings or moral ethics. To the Zionists, the concept of “God’s chosen people” is molded into racist political notions that grant Jews to occupy Palestine and expel its Arab population. This contrasts with Neturei Kartaan which is an international group that embraces religious Jews who reject Zionism and its state throughout the world, they view the concept of political organization as a foreign concept, which they reject. Therefore,To date, the Neturei Karta does not recognize Israel,The group takes a positive stance towards the Palestinian Liberation Movement and the Palestinian claim to Palestine.
According to Neturei Karta literature, the safety and security of Jews lies in their ability to make peace with the countries in which they live. Its members accuse the Zionist movement of being anti-Jewish.
No muslim on earth hates a christain or jew or any one because of their beliefs. Each one is responsible for his or act.Take my word for it.I am living in Morocco,my parents and grandparents coexisted with jews, they exchange visit, food , they attend their wedding and funerals. When they relate the story of Moroccan jews, they speak good of them.

iam now in london and now see the statement of no muslim on earth hates a christian or jew or any because of their belives. I remember a conversation occured to be only few hours in the airoplane when a european businessman occur to sit in the next chair and he thought that women are not allowed to talk to strangers , of course muslim coverd women! and then he came to kuwait for business and now going back to his european country.

he is interested in the study of relegions also and he told me that he is astonished to how muslims are treating forighers and non muslim. Sorry he order a wine in the airoplane and i didnt give much attention to that , may be he felt something . He wants to thank the arabic man so asked me what to say in arabic? any way, he told me that all muslims he met them in europe , in indenosia , in kuwait, in saudi arabaia ,as i understand from him are quite gentle and good and they have morals , different to what is say about them.

we talked untill he has to take his other connection to his country and then to return again to do business in ME as he likes.

mr owly , you want to judje islam from some bad pracises, becasue u hate islam and there is a personal conflict between u and some muslims, so u r totaly bias and i saw many western people whom like to know the truth and that man explained to me that western people dont know the truth as they depend on media and i told him that there is no conflict between the 3 relegions and he said that all wars are becasue of economics. ( i beleive him ).

i know there is no use of u mr owly to change u idea , but most people know the reality of islam and people.

greetings from london to all

Welcome to the United Kingdom Abdulksaida.I trust you will enjoy your stay.

You will not have had time to watch the program, the link to which I posted, however when you do you will realize the significance of my point.

I know you will not watch the program, and if you do it will be 'explained away' as nothing. Unfortunately it is the tip of a very nasty evil iceburg and it would be interesting to hear how you would set about tackling the problem.

Always cold in relation to Kuwait !! Anyway, go shopping !!!!

It is the River Thames; Big Ben is actually the bell which strikes the hour; 10 Downing Street and you should go and see Westminster Abbey and The Tower. If you are interested in architecture also go into the Banqueting House in Whitehall (almost opposite Downing Street). Wonderful paintings on the ceilings - they thoughtfully provide mirrors so you can admire without falling over !!! You could also visit the Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace. Had you come in August you could have seen inside the Palace, but Her Majesty will be in residence. Anyway enjoy London, one of the great cities of the world.

I wish you good trip in London and may you go back in safety.Owly.Islam means peace. It is a submission to the will of God.The latter he enjoins on muslims to treat humbeing kindly and respect his or her belief.Instead of showing us or providing the readers or my friends the sayings of the prophet Mohamed and the verses of Quran within the context and the causes of revelation, you invite us to watch a video.I will not be surprised if some do not adhere the teachings of islam because people have different perception. The evidence should come from quran and the prophet tradition.Allah says in Quran
“God does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes – from dealing kindly and justly with them. Indeed, God loves those who act justly. God only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion – (forbids) that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers.” (Quran 60:8-9).The true muslim will act upon this Divine Will and put the divine commands into practice.Indeed, if you read the history of islam.Take this example , When a Christian delegation from Ethiopian churches came to Medina, the Prophet opened up his mosque for them to stay in, hosted them generously, and personally served them meals. He said:

“They were generous to our companions, so I wish to be generous to them in person…”

It would be unfair not tomention that The companions of Prophet Muhammad followed his example Umar set-up a permanent stipend for the Jewish family the Prophet used to take care of in his lifetime He found justification for allotting funds for the People of the Scripture in the following verse of the Quran:

“Alms are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect (the funds) and for bringing hearts together, and for freeing captives (or slaves) and for those in debt and for the cause of God, and for the (stranded) traveler – an obligation (imposed) by God. And God is Knowing and Wise.” (Quran 9:60)

Renault is one of the unbiased Western historians who has acknowledged the kind and fair treatment of Muslims towards the non-Muslim minorities. He comments:

‘The Muslims in the cities of Islamic Spain treated the non-Muslims in the best possible way. In return, the non-Muslims showed respect to the sensibilities of the Muslims and would circumcise their own children and refrain from eating pork.’

I have collected some verses of Quran and prophet sayings and his successors on how to treat non muslims.
O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, God is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you avoid justice; and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do.”(Quran 4:135)
....
O you who believe! Stand out firmly for God as just witnesses; and let not the enmity hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety; and fear God. Verily, God is Well-Acquainted with what you do.”(Quran 5:8)
O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other (and not hate one another). Surely, the most honored of you in the sight of God is (he who) is the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).” (Quran 49:13
the Prophet stated:

“Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, curtails their rights, burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment.” (Abu Dawud)
The Messenger of God declared in his farewell sermon, addressing the largest gathering in Arab history till that point:

“People, hear that your Lord is One, and that your father is one. You must know that no Arab has superiority over a non-Arab, no non-Arab has superiority over an Arab, or a red man over a black man, or a black man over a red, except in terms of what each person has of piety. Have I delivered the message
The obligation imposed by the covenant is communal, and the nearest Muslim must try hard to fulfill it. Anyone who violates the protection granted by a Muslim will be under the curse of God, the angels, and all people, and on Judgment Day no intercession will be accepted on his behalf.

in the letter written by the Caliph Abu Bakr as-Siddiq[3] to the non-Muslims of Najran:

‘In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful. This is the written statement of God’s slave Abu Bakr, the successor of Muhammad, the Prophet and Messenger of God. He affirms for you the rights of a protected neighbor, in yourselves, your lands, your religious community, your wealth, retainers, and servants, those of you who are present or abroad, your bishops and monks, and monasteries, and all that you own, be it great or small. You shall not be deprived of any of it, and shall have full control over it..

zawa-je,

I doubt you have looked at the program, the link for which I posted. You should. As to the rest of your posts it is ironic you quoting how Mohammed welcomed Christians to Medina. You must understand that I, as a Christian, am not allowed to visit either Mecca or Medina. I doubt your friend Abdulksaida would be very pleased if she were forbidden to visit Westminster while she is in London, which contains the shrine of Edward the Confessor, King and Saint. You see the double standard I hope ?

By sheer coincidence I happened to be leafing through the memoirs of John Simpson, the British TV journalist, who was in Afghanistan around 2001. He says he would much rather be a westerner in a Muslim country than a Muslim in a western country. He reckons he got a warmer and more courteous welcome than he would have done the other way about, and nobody blamed him personally for what his government was doing.

Abdulksaida whom i know

Abdulksaida whom i know personally is a generous woman. She is the type of the Arab muslim woman
who has good qualities. She gives if she asked and forgive if she is hurt.I do not doubt that she does not share with me my opinion that if u want to visit my country or her country or any country u are welcomed.

Makkah is not "a big city." On the contrary, Makkah and Medina make up a very small portion of the entire Hejaz region. Non-Muslims are coming in truckloads in all other parts of the Arabian peninsula and are enjoying the same rights as anyone else, if not much more. In fact, North Americans and Europeans in the Arabian peninsula are treated much better than Muslims from third world countries. Thus, not allowing non-Muslims inside of Makkah and Medina is no big catastrophe, and I'm sure these non-Muslims are not even pushed about it. You are the only one who seems to be throwing into a fit.
My friend Owly Are you British or English. If you are an Arab,Asian or even a British immigrant do you enjoy the same political right as an English.

Owly this an answer to u

Owly this an answer to u question by a scholar from South Africa.

Allah Ta’ala states in the Qur’aan, ‘O who who believe! Verily, the Mushrikeen (idolaters) are impure, so let them not come near Musjidul Haraam after this year.’ (Surah Tawbah Aayat28)

According to the Hanafi Madhab school, this verse refers to Hajj which means pilgrimmage and Umrah means minor pilgrimmage only, i.e. they are prevented from performing Hajj and Umrah. From prior to Islam, the idolators used to perform Tawaaf, etc. After Islam and in the 9th year of the Hijrah, Allah Ta’ala commands that after this year no idolator may be allowed to perform Hajj or Umrah. The Aayat does not prevent the NON MUSLIMS from entering the Haram or any one Musjid. (Tafseer Mazhari vol.5 pg.232; HM Saeed)

With regards specifically to your question, we understand that Makkah and Madinah are extremely virtuous and sacred places. However, even today there are many non-Muslims present at these places. The abovementioned verse only prohibits them from performing the sacred rituals of Hajj and Umrah. A simple way to understand this better will be that there are rules and regulations for person wishing to enter a foreign country. He has to go through procedures like visa applications, passport, etc. No country will simply accept anyone and everyone. Why then should it not be such with sacred places like Makkah and Madina.

and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best

Mufti Ebrahim Desai

You are completely and utterly wrong. It is forbidden for a non-Muslim to enter the cities of Mecca and Medina. As a Christian I am, therefore, discriminated against and treated as inferior to others. Please note God does not do this.

No, Owly, God does not do that. Men do, and not only Muslim men.

I'm not allowed to enter Athos, for reasons that have to do with Christian, not Muslim, rules. That's a far greater area than the added areas of Mekka and Medina. Do you find that equally unjust?

Posts:

Well I could go to Mount Athos and I am not a Greek Orthodox - I'm an Anglican. As far as I am aware there are no restrictions on visiting Mount Athos as to religion, but women are not permitted.

Exactly. And you were complaining about your being discriminated against by the decisions of Muslim clerics and Saudi Arabian authorities. I am complaining because I am being discriminated against by the decisions of Christian clerics and Greek authorities.

owly

u know my opinion about visiting mecca and madina, and i told u before that for western to visit those places, they will visit it as to take photos and memories and not for worshiping as they are not muslims.

you also know that muslims go their for pilgrimage and to worship as haj is one of the pillars of islam and all muslims must go their once in their lives, so it will impractical to let others to come while at that time muslims will go around kaba and say their prayers. Of course non muslims even will not do the same act and know nothing about rules and prayers of muslims, so they will distract muslims from doing their prayers. I think also westerns people if they study well and know the meaning of pilgrimage to mecca , they will not come as of course they will not hurt others.

Beside always mecca is not accomodating the increasing numbers of muslims and many muslims tell now cant go to pilgrimage from their countries untill they reach old age as mecca cant accomodate them all, so by logic how western and non muslims can go to take photos and shots only ??

As i said before, the hanafi

As i said before, the hanafi school allows that non muslims enter Mecca on the condition not to perform pilgrimmage or minor pilgrimmage.
Fiqh means jurispendance.
The four well-known schools of Islamic Fiqh are as below:1- HANAFI SCHOOL. 2- MALIKI SCHOOL. 3- SHAFI' SCHOOL.4- HANBALI SCHOOL. The Imams (leaders) of these schools are accepted by the nation. These schools are based on the teachings of the QURAN and the SUNNAH. Generally people follow one of the above schools. The followers are of two kinds : A – Those who seek knowledge. B – The common people. The first are the ones who deeply study the Fiqh of the school, which is commonly followed in their country, and know its pieces of evidence from the QURAN and Hadith. These do not discriminate between schools when they get strong evidence from QURAN and SUNNAH, they follow it, regardless of it agreeing with their school or not. .There is no mistake in following one of these schools. Following a school, and studying the FIQH or islamic rulings according to that school is helpful in improving and memorizing the FIQH and its matters. Therefore,
There are some Islamic scholars who would permit entrance to Mecca by non muslims, for trade purposes or for people who are under treaty permission. The government of Saudi Arabia, which controls access to the holy sites, has decided upon a strict ban on both cities in their entirety.

Sorry, I was too quick. Not exactly.

You would have to pretend you are a pilgrim, tourists are not allowed in Athos. That rule should exclude everybody who is not Christian.

Owly i like guests and any

Owly i like guests and any one of you who wants to visit Morocco, i would be so happy. No only will i invite him to eat various delecious meals but also show him beautiful places.I would like to seek reward only from God without expecting any thing in return. As the prophet says

"Indeed whoever believes that Allah is All-Generous, Who provides for His creation and rewards those who are hospitable towards their guests, should look after his guest."He also says
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should be hospitable with his or her guests."
I swear once i met japanese man and woman in a cafe. After having short discussion, i invited them and introduce them to my family. He and she were so happy that they stay for hours with us.They are buddists however, i did not hate them but treat them as humbeing. As i said each one is responsible for his her acts.We do not judge people. Each one has his her defect. Moreover, the hearts of all the sons of Adam are between the two fingers out of the fingers of the Compassionate Lord as one heart. He turns that to any (direction) He likes. God says in Quran And He has united their (i.e. believers’) hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have united their hearts, but Allah has united them. Certainly He is All- Mighty, All-Wise. (Al-Anfaal 63)

Glad you are enjoying your visit. There are so many places to see it is hard to pick out any specific recommendations. Living nearby I have not gone to the main tourist attractions for many years. If you like music and/or art there are plenty of places to go. Near the London Eye (South Bank) is the Royal Festival Hall, Purcell rooms etc. where there are frequent concerts for all styles of music and the are a number of lunch-time (free) concerts that can be Jazz/ classical/ folk and from anywhere in the world. You can find all these advertised on the web (try South Bank). Also many art galleries with an extensive range of art. If you like modern art (not my favourite) the Tate Modern is free (except some areas where ther is a special exhibition) and is a good place to spend a rainy afternoon.

As you have studied science, the science museum and/or the natural history museum (in Kensington) are also worth a visit. Of course the grand churches like Westminster Abbey and St Pauls Cathedral are also great places to go. Even as an atheist I like to visit chuches for their peace and tranquility, and to admire the architecture and history. Virtually every village in the country has a church that is a place to visit (some have castles too) that date back many years (often to the 13th century).

Enjoy!

MR ENGLISHMAN Happiness is a

MR ENGLISHMAN

Happiness is a feeling that resides in the heart. It is characterized by peace of mind, tranquility, a sense of well-being, and a relaxed disposition. It comes as a result of proper behavior, both inward and outward, and is inspired by strong faith. This is attested to by the Qur’ân and Sunnah. Allah says:
- Whoever works righteousness as a believer, whether male or female, We will give a good life.

- Then, whoever follows My guidance shall neither go astray nor be distressed. But whoever turns away from My reminder will have a life of hardship.
Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “True enrichment does not come through possessing a lot of wealth, but true enrichment is the enrichment of the soul.”

Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) also said: “There are two blessings that many people wish they had: health and free time.”

The Prophet (peace be upon him) counseled us to balance our time, saying: “Give your hearts rest every hour, because if the heart is forced, it becomes blind.”

Mr Englishman,OWLY MY DEAR

Mr Englishman,OWLY MY DEAR READERS
The point i want to make that peace of thought and tranquility can not be achieved only through the pattern that we are created for you. Many have bad image OF islam and muslims. This results from the bias mass media and and people and from their ignorance of the quran and the prophet sayings. If u judge islam , you should not say see what muslims do.I agree with u that there are some who are muslims by birth.Neither do they read quran nor the saying of prophet .Moreover, they do not put into practise islam teaching in their daily life. There are muslims who lie I agree but these have not reached the degree of faith. The following is an example of a british judhe who converted into Islam. Her converstion is the fruit of the fact that she devoted time to reading Quran and the prophet saying.Let me introduce to you Marilyn Mornington

If this is not brainwashing, please tell me what is! (My bolding below).
This woman speaks to ‘Shaykh Hamza Yusuf’ in London:

“I have been specialising in crime against women, violence against women and child abuse now for some ten to twelve years on a policy level for the United Kingdom and I became, by no choice of my own, because of the work I was doing, closely involved with violence against women in the Muslim communities in this country, and in order to understand better where they were coming from began to read about Islam, began to read the Koran and to mix with Muslims. I would HAVE to say I don’t think I really ever had any choice in the matter that ?…? had his eyes on me and that was it. From that moment on without any choice of mine kept on meeting one person after the other who led me down a path where there really was no turning back from because the more I got to know about Islam, about the Prophet, peace be upon him, it became obvious to me that this is what I want… where I wanted to belong and what it was what I wanted to believe and I also felt very comfortable with the family life and the stories of the wives of the prophet and the companions and it was just somewhere that over a period of time and I would have to say Shaykh Hamza from your own writings and your tapes that I was listening to I realised that this was obviously the life …”

I like what you said in your post, however I believe the Jewish story is a shadow of the great story and plan for mankind as a whole. I believe Jesus to be the Jewish Messiah, and I see many shadows in the Jewish scriptures that demonstrate this.
